Our priority is to exceed our client's expectations
 |
We take pride in the work we do from our first contact
with a client right up until their log home
or timber frame project is complete.
Our success is due to our quality of workmanship, quality of materials
and the close knit group of dedicated people we have working towards
this goal.
Owner, operator, John Johnson began handcrafting log homes in the
Cariboo region of British Columbia, Canada in 1969, where he began
by building a log home for himself. People
in the area were very impressed and began asking if he would build
homes for them. Before long what began as a personal project became
a growing industry. In fact, his home town of 100 Mile House, BC
is now officially called "The Handcrafted Log Home Building Capital
of North America".
Sitka Log Homes remains an original family operated business. John's
oldest son Brad, having been brought up around log
home building, is also an experienced craftsman as well as our
construction yard supervisor. John's
wife, Bonnie, also works with the company doing sales and marketing.
General manager, Walter
Bramsleven, coordinates every aspect of each project from design
to shipping. He works very closely with clients to ensure a smooth
and enjoyable building experience. Our 20 or so log smiths are all
talented craftsmen who enjoy the opportunity to create breathtaking
log and timber frame structures.
Over the years we have built everything from small
vacation cabins to large commercial
buildings. Our attention to detail, pride in our work and commitment
to quality ensures we remain a leader in our field.
