This is a hybrid/log accent home—not a true log structure, but a conventionally framed house with log detailing. We used log siding with chinking on the exterior, combined with flared Western Red Cedar log butts and large-diameter Lodgepole Pine for authentic rustic appeal. The varying roof lines significantly enhance the home’s visual interest. Located in Breckenridge, Colorado, this project demonstrates how log accents can achieve the mountain log home aesthetic without full log construction.
